What Board Game Do You Think Leads To The Most Fighting?

Family game night always seems like a blast until you remember all the fights that have started around your kitchen table because of the roll of some dice. And don’t worry. It’s not just your family. A new survey has found one in five people have banned a board game for causing problems on “Game Night.”

“Monopoly” still reigns supreme as the most controversial game to break open with loved ones. Nearly half of the families that have banned a game said that was the one that’s no longer allowed. In a surprisingly close second place was “Uno” followed by “Sorry” in third. And while it’s never fun to drop the banhammer on a game, it could be worse. Over 20% of the survey said they’ve had to ban aparticular playerfrom their game nights.Harsh.

What usually makes up a game night gone wrong? The study found typical antics include someone quitting because they’re losing (46%), someone accusing another player of cheating (44%), and two or more players getting into an argument (44%). But don’t expect any self-awareness out of these competitive monsters. Only 13% of the survey fessed up to being a problem player “every time” or “most of the time.”
