- Sarah Jessica Parker has opened up to “Vulture” about her alleged feud with Kim Cattrall.
- She’s saying that “there is no catfight” and says she had never been “unfriendly” to Cattrall.
- Parker also notes that she “never fought with someone publicly.”
Sarah Jessica Parker has responded to the Kim Cattrall feud rumors. Again. In an interview with “Vulture,” Parker says she wants to set the record straight. “I’d just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight," says Parker. "I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it."
To recap, the two have reportedly not been getting a long after a third “Sex and The City” movie was dropped. Parker publicly voiced her “disappointment” and Cattrall later said that Parker “could’ve been nicer” after she refused to reprise her role of Samantha.
Parker notes that we "still live in a free country where people get to make choices and sometimes the answer is ‘no,’ and the only way to respond for me is to respect that.” She adds that she “never fought with someone publicly in my life, nor would I.”
- To illustrate that point, Parker points to her castmates - the other ones. “I also want to remind everybody that there were four women on the set and I spent equal time with all of them, so this was not a set with two women who didn’t get along," Parker adds. "I’ve always held Kim’s work in high regard and always appreciative of her contributions. If she chooses not to do the third movie, there’s not a lot I can do to change her mind and we must respect it. That’s the only thing I’ve ever said about it, you know?
