Well, GoBankingRates looked at median rents in 50 major cities around the country to determine how much people need to spend for a one-bedroom apartment, and who's paying the most. They also looked at the cost of basic utilities and each city's walkability score.
The cities with the highest median rents shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Folks in San Francisco shell out the most for a one-bedroom, $3,393, followed by San Jose at $2,505 and New York at $2,395.
