The North Dakota State Fair Parade will be held on July 22, 2017, beginning at 9:15am at the intersection of South Broadway and Burdick and ending at the State Fair Grounds. The Parade is preceded by the “Run the Route” foot race at 8:45am. Lineup for the Parade will be on South Broadway. At 8:00am, South Broadway will be blocked to traffic from Burdick Expressway to 18th Ave SW. At 8:45am, Burdick Expressway will be blocked to traffic for the duration of the Parade. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes. It should be noted that this year, due to East Burdick construction, the route will divert. At the intersection of 9th St SE and East Burdick, it will proceed southbound on 9th St SE to Eastern Ave, then eastbound on Eastern Ave to 8th Ave SE. It will then proceed on 8th Ave SE and into the entrance of the State Fair Grounds. Temporary “No Parking” signs will be placed on Eastern Ave and 8th Ave SE and violations will be enforced.
