It's Taco Tuesday and we're celebrating the delicious flavors of the classic Mexican cuisine.
When it comes to finding the perfect tacos or any Mexican dish, everyone has their favorite restaurant to visit- one that serves up the perfect combination of flavors that satisfy every time.
If you're looking for somewhere new, however, two San Diego Mexican restaurants have risen high above all the others.
Mariscos German and Las Cuatro Milpas both placed in TimeOut's "Top 20 Best Mexican Restaurants In America" list.
While the taco-truck-turned-restaurant, Mariscos German, located on 658 Hollister St. is closed, you can still find their food trucks on 4724 Federal Blvd and 3269 Beyer Blvd. The menu features all kinds of seafood including the fan-favorite Ensenada-style fish taco and the tostada loca.
Las Cuatro Milpas is a third-generation Mexican breakfast and lunch joint. Located in Logan Heights, the spot is famous for its authentic carnitas, house-made tortillas, flautas, and salsa. They close at 3:00 P.M. but with the lines of devoted fans this place sees on the daily, you'll probably want to get there early.
